Easter

I hope your Easter weekend was filled with fun. Ours certainly was.
The annual Easter egg hunt....this has been happening in my family since...... well forever. The venue has changed over the years as well as the execution.

It is now held at my parents farm with all my siblings and our spouses Siblings that are nearby. This tradition is one that I hold dear. We don't have a cut off age so we hunt until we decide that we want to start hiding the eggs.

This year we were told by my Dad that we needed to hide the eggs easier because he was still finding eggs from last year. So my big brother decided that we should hide eggs on top of the barn granary and fuel tank.
Our motto If we can't hide the eggs hard then we will hide them dangerously.

Fun was had by all. The kids had too much candy and played hard. Playing in the oat barrels quickly became a game of torture. This is Tayah having fun before being injured by the game.

After consuming too much candy the kids and I headed home. Jay-Bear always the comedian started doing some routine that had his brother and sister belly laughing . So i stuck a peek into the back seat and saw...........

That is the remains of a bubble gum mustache and beard.
He won't be doing that again I hope. The gum did not come of as easily as it went on as you can imagine.....Now Jay knows it too.
